What payment methods do you accept?
GlassXperts accepts cash, checks, Paypal, and all major credit cards.
What does my auto glass replacement quote include?
Your auto glass quote includes the cost of the glass, any required molding, and labor. Sales tax is not included in the quote. The customer is responsible for informing GlassXperts of any additional features their windshield requires for proper installation (i.e. rain sensors, auto-dimming mirrors, etc.) If the windshield does require features in addition to what the customer includes in their quote request form, additional charges will apply.

Can my windshield be repaired?
Most damage that is smaller than the size of a dollar bill is repairable. If your damage is larger, it is most likely that you will need to replace your windshield. What is the difference between OEM and OEE auto glass?
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) auto glass is made by the same manufacturer as your original glass. Original Equipment Equivalent (OEE) auto glass is made to the same standards, but by a different manufacturer. You may specify a specific type of glass you want in the Comments/Additional Info section of the Get a Quote form. All of our replacement quotes include pricing for OEE glass. Please be aware that OEM is often more expensive than OEE glass and will require a separate quote. Will my registration and inspection stickers be transferred to my new windshield?
If permitted by state law, GlassXperts will transfer all necessary stickers over to your new windshield.
How much time does a repair or replacement typically take?
In most cases, windshield repairs will be completed in 20 minutes or less. After the repair is completed, the vehicle is safe to drive immediately.
Many windshield replacements take less than an hour to complete. We do recommend that you refrain from driving the vehicle for at least one hour after your replacement is completed. Our technician will advise you if there are any additional instructions that you need to follow.
Where is the best place for my vehicle prior to the repair or replacement?
For both repairs and replacements, it is optimal for the vehicle to be in a covered area. Both extreme temperature and moisture (rain, snow) can affect the outcome of the service. Because of this, it is best to complete the work in a controlled environment.
I would like to transfer my rear view mirror to the new windshield. Is this possible?
Yes, your GlassXperts technicians will transfer your rear view mirror and re-attach it to the new windshield.
What can I expect the rockchip or crack to look like after the repair is finished?
Cosmetically, the repair should come out looking improved. Remember that the first priority is to prevent the chip from growing any larger. No chip repair will cause the damaged area to disappear. Even the most successful repair will leave a slight imperfection on your windshield.
Is there any risk that my chip or crack will grow during the repair?
In the very rare event that this occurs, we will credit the cost of the repair either toward a new windshield or, in the event of insurance work, back to the insurance company.
Will the GlassXperts technician vacuum any broken glass as part of the replacement service?
Yes, your GlassXpert will take care of vacuuming any pieces of broken auto glass in your vehicle.
How long does the repair or replacement process take to complete?

We will try to accompany whatever your scheduling needs are. If you are in need of same day service, please call 888-807-6470 as early as possible and we will do our best to satisfy your needs. If your situation allows for more time, we are generally able to perform next day or preferred replacement day service for all of our customers.
Do I need to be present during my auto glass service?
It is not necessary for you to be present during your repair or replacement. Please have your car keys available for the technician. After the service is completed, the technician will ask that you inspect the work and are satisfied with the results.
Will I be notified by my technician before he/she arrives for auto glass service?
Yes, a technician will call the contact number listed prior to arrival. This will ensure that if you need to be away from the repair/replacement address that you have time to return. Please make sure to have your cell phone available during the day of your repair or replacement.
